An unforgettable off-road adventure to Mount Batur at sunrise with a descent into one of the largest calderas in Southeast Asia!
Watch the sunrise with a panoramic view of three volcanoes while enjoying a cup of hot tea or coffee, walk across frozen black lava, and drive a jeep to the highest accessible point at the foot of the volcano. After the ride, you can relax and swim in natural hot springs.
Along the way, you’ll pass through traditional Balinese villages, stop to visit an ancient Hindu temple, and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant with stunning views of Mount Agung.

03:00 – Night transfer
At the scheduled time, a Landy Safari representative will pick you up from your villa or hotel in a 4-seater jeep.

Main tour program
03:30 – Sunrise adventure
The trip begins at night so you can reach the highest point of the Batur caldera by sunrise and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Batur, Mount Abang, and Mount Agung. The first rays of dawn and the serene silence of nature create a truly magical atmosphere. Here, you’ll have a light breakfast with warm tea as the sun rises.
Your adventure continues across the black lava field, volcanic rocks, and desert-like landscapes, with several photo stops to capture the stunning scenery. You’ll then walk to the crater of Batur’s most recent eruption and even boil eggs over the hot volcanic steam.
10:00 – Hot springs
After the walk, you can relax in the natural hot springs at the foot of the volcano. Heated by volcanic energy, the water will gently soothe your muscles and skin before the expedition continues.
After a short break, the journey goes deeper into the jungle on Mount Abang, where you’ll discover the hidden Bubung Renteng temple and mystical statues.
13:00 – Lunch and return
Finally, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading back through traditional Balinese villages and scenic rice fields.
