Overview

Conquer the untamed heart of Bali on an unforgettable adventure combining buggies, boats, and mountain bikes through remote landscapes of rice fields, jungles, lakes, and waterfalls.

Munduk — located in the central highlands of Bali — is one of the island’s last truly wild areas. Here, crystal-clear lakes, picturesque waterfalls, and misty tropical jungles blend seamlessly with village plantations and rice terraces stretching across rolling hills.

Embark on an off-road journey aboard Finn Komodo buggies, Indonesian-designed vehicles built specifically for this rugged terrain. Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to explore the surroundings on mountain bikes or take a peaceful ride on traditional boats — the choice is yours.

This expedition is perfect for thrill-seekers and nature lovers eager to experience the raw, unspoiled side of Bali far from the tourist trails.

We offer two routes to choose from:

  • Mystery Valley: Hills, rice terraces, and a scenic waterfall.

  • Luwak Trail: Coffee plantation, jungle, lake, and temple.

Program: Mystery Valley

(Hills, Rice Terraces & Waterfall)

Your journey takes you along dirt roads through the Kayu Pandak hills, Devil’s Rock, and scenic plantations. You’ll make a short stop at the Green Track, a picturesque area with muddy trails and lush greenery, where you can enjoy some free buggy driving or ride a mountain bike along the dirt path. During this break, a lunch will be served before continuing your adventure.

Next, you’ll visit Bengkel village with its stunning rice terraces, take a peaceful walk through the fields, and reach a hidden jungle waterfall, where you can swim and relax before heading back to the base.

Program: Luwak Trail

(Coffee Plantation, Jungle, Lake & Temple)

Your adventure begins with a trip to Lake Tamblingan and a temple located on its shore. Here, you can enjoy a wooden canoe ride and watch local fishermen at work. The journey then continues into more challenging terrain through mandarin and coffee plantations and a tropical forest with century-old trees.

You’ll take a short break for a jungle walk and visit a coffee plantation, where you’ll learn about local coffee culture, watch coffee beans being roasted over an open fire, and savor the aroma and taste of this famous drink. Afterward, enjoy a lunch and some free time for buggy driving before heading back to the base.
