Overview

Mount Batur is one of the most beautiful places in Bali. This ancient yet still active volcano attracts countless visitors from all over the world.

Standing at 1,717 meters above sea level, the hike to the summit takes about 2–3 hours.

We will pick you up between 1:00 and 2:30 a.m., depending on your location. The ascent begins around 3:30–4:00 a.m. and usually takes 2 to 3 hours, depending on your fitness level and weather conditions.

Balinese people have long believed that the gods dwell on mountain tops. Before stepping onto this sacred ground, they offer small tributes. It is said that here, at the summit, your prayers are more likely to be heard and your wishes granted.

Because of this, the area attracts a large number of flies. You may encounter them everywhere; unfortunately, there is no way to avoid them. Please be understanding and simply ignore them, as the locals do.
• If private transfers are required from three or more different areas, please check with the manager for possible additional car fees.
• At the hot springs, you may stay for no more than 2 hours. If you wish to extend this time, please contact the BaliSoulTrips.com manager to arrange an extra payment for car rental.
