DAY 2 — SNORKELING WITH WHALE SHARKS

Transfer to Labuan Jambu village on Sumbawa's east coast — about 2 hours.

Boarding the motorboat bound for Whale Shark Point, the area where whale sharks are most frequently seen.

05:30 · Snorkeling with the whale sharks
A rare opportunity to encounter these gentle giants in their natural habitat. The encounter at sunrise makes it especially memorable.

Brief rest before the road transfer.

DAY 3 — DEPARTURE

A Sumbawa Snorkeling representative meets you at arrivals. Your driver then transfers you to the port.

11:00 · Speedboat to Moyo Island
About 45 minutes across the bay, with coastal views along the way.

11:45 · Arrival at Moyo Island
Known for its uninhabited interior and quiet bays.

12:00 · Lunch at a coastal restaurant
Local cuisine and fresh seafood, with ocean views.

13:30 · Mototaxi to Mata Jitu Waterfalls
A ride through tropical forest to the falls — turquoise pools below the cascade, suitable for swimming.

15:30 · Return to Labu Aji village
The route continues to Takat Sagele and Poto Jarum — quieter stretches of white sand with snorkeling over coral reefs in clear shallow water.

17:30 · Return to Sumbawa
Speedboat back, then transfer to Samawa Seaside Resort.
Check-in and rest.

The crew attracts the sharks using krill, allowing safe surface observation. These encounters are slow, close, and rarely possible elsewhere in the world.
