The village of Gitgit is located 10 kilometers from the city of Singaraja and about 70 kilometers from Denpasar, in the Sukasada district. The Gitgit River, which flows through this area, forms a series of waterfalls. The plateau over which the river runs rises 300 meters above sea level, creating ideal conditions for cascading falls.
